Can you believe it is time to link up with Farley for Currently?  Seriously, it's September, y'all!!  Wowzer!  Where has the time gone?!?!

Anyway, here is my September Currently.

Sooooo, like Farley, I am obsessed with Big Brother!  I am currently watching an episode of Big Brother After Dark.  I can't get enough of the regular show so I have to record all the BBAD episodes too.

I am absolutely LOVING my new job!  I am the Instructional Technology Coach for all the elementary schools in my district! Love, love, love it!  The running joke in my family is that I can go to the bathroom when I want to!  Come on now teachers, you know what I mean!!  That is big if you can go when you actually need to go!

I'm thinking that I still have a huge learning curve that goes along with my new job, but it's getting smaller!

I am NOT wanting to take my son tomorrow to his study visit tomorrow.  He has a kidney disease and was asked to be a part of a national study.  He's been in the study since he was about 7 and gets to have tests that he wouldn't receive in a normal course of care.  Tomorrow is the LONG visit - 7 hours with blood draws periodically throughout the day and an echocardiogram...Fun stuff...

I am needing absolutely nothing.  I am been so blessed in my life!

The three trips I would love to take are to London, Washington, D.C., and Paris.   Three beautiful places that are so full of history.  I would love to ramble and explore in all three of these cities!

I'm a little late to the Farley party, but here goes...

I'm currently listening to/watching the movie Pitch-Perfect.  I've been wanting to see this movie.  My hubby is currently playing on his phone. Not so much his type of movie...Oh well...

I am loving our beautiful weather!  Of course, here in Georgia, that means instead of spring we get the season of POLLEN!  Ugh!  That, I do not love!

I am thinking that it is going to be a long two weeks before we get to our Spring Break!  

My student teacher's time with us is done and I really am not ready to see her leave.  She has been such a big help in the classroom!  

I have so much to get done within the next two weeks!  My to-do list needs to be way shorter, but is a teacher's to-do ever?  Wishful thinking, I know!

Our last day is June 6th.  What we we thinking we approved that calendar?!  We have never gotten out this late!  Our hours are 7:30 - 3:30.

I hope the start of your April has been fabulous!

I seriously cannot believe it is time for the FaBuLoUs Farley's February Currently!

This year is already flying by and it just started!!  Here's mine!

I'm LISTENING to Jack Hanna!  I love animals and learning more about them.  I have loved Jack Hanna since, well forever, I think!  My family thinks I'm a little nuts, but oh well...

I'm LOVING this lazy Saturday!  

I'm THINKING that next week will be a little cray-cray!  Since we were out 3 1/2 days last week with snow and ice, next week is going to be a flurry of activity!

HOWEVER....

I am WANTING more snow!  There is just something magical about snow here in the south!  I can do without the ice, but bring on the snow!  (I know my friends up north and the midwest are wishing that snow would leave and never come back!)

I am NEEDING to be more productive today...like actually get out of my pajammas!

TRUTH - I love winter!  I am so cold natured, but I can pile on some blankets!  I love summer too, but the heat and humidity can sometimes be completely stifling!

FIB - I was never a jump rope champion.  Maybe in my mind, but not in reality!  LOL!

TRUTH - I could eat Mexican everyday of the year!  Love it!

Currently...and a {Sale}!

      It really is December 1st!  This year has seriously sprouted wings and flown by!  My grandmother always told me that the older you get, the faster time will seem to pass!  She was certainly right!  My goodness, these next 3 weeks before we get out for Christmas break is going to be a blur!  It seems that we have something every single night until Christmas!  Even our school Christmas party is tomorrow night!  Talk about starting the season off early, but we wanted as many to be able to attend and if we waited...well, you know...

      December 1st also means it's time to link up with the fabulous Farley for Currently!  So here goes...

Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of zombies!  Ha!  I really do like Christmas movies, but I am a little obsessed with The Walking Dead!  A LOT of this season has been shot in and around my hometown so it's really cool to see all the local places!  If you follow me on Instagram, I have posted some pics of the different locales.  

I love Christmas!  I am so glad it's here!

You know that teacher bag we probably all took home with great intentions?  Mine is still sitting in almost the same spot it was when I first brought it home!  Yours too?  Yeah...good intentions...  I really wanted to get some things done, but alas, they did not get done so now I am cramming to get it done (and I'm blogging too --that helps get it done faster, right?)

Christmas shopping needs to get done quickly!  Our first exchange gifts get-together is with my mother this coming weekend!  She and her husband spend the winter in Florida and want to get an earlier start this year so we're doing Christmas this weekend!  I at least have to get them done!!

I absolutely need nothing!  I have plenty of wants!  Just ask my husband! But honestly, I don't need a single iota!  I really want to concentrate on being content in all things!

My favorite tradition is decorating for Christmas!  I hate getting all the boxes out, but once I get everything going, I love it!  Each little ornament and decoration has such meaning!  Memory lane and Christmas all rolled into one!  Ha!

It's time to link up with Farley over at Oh Boy Fourth Grade!  That is always such a fun linky!

So here goes...

In my house during the Fall, there is always a football game going on so it's no wonder I'm listening to football.  Well...I should say it is my background noise as I'm writing this and then I'll find something else to listen to!  

I am loving the cooler weather!  Summer is Georgia can sometimes be brutal so I alway look forward to the beautiful Fall days with all the pretty foliage!  

I would really love to POOF! have it be Thanksgiving Break next week!  I really need to stop wishing my life away!  

I am seriously wanting a fairy to come and clean my house, grade my students' work, write lesson plans, and anything else I need to get done!  Anyone got one of those to share?  If so, send her my way...and soon!!

I am needing my sweet, precious 10th grade son to focus on his grades and not his social life!  Ugh!  Those of you with teenagers can probably relate, but wowzer...his grades have slipped and he's got to get back in the groove!

Labor Day Currently

Happy Labor Day y'all! I hope you have had a fabulous day of rest and relaxation! We have had a very lazy day...and it's been wonderful!!

I'm linking up with the fabulous Farley for her monthly Currently linky so here goes...

      It is football season at our house!  And, it will be on from now till there are no more games... My hubby played football for Clemson, and he has watched the Clemson/Georgia game twice now...

      I'm loving having this extra day.  Why can't we have Mondays off all the time.  It's make things simple, don't ya think?

      I'm thinking I really need to get my lesson plans done.  In fact, I just finished and now printing!  Yay me!!

      I'm wanting my laundry to magically get done.  I don't think it's going to happen, but a girl can wish right?

      I'm needing a pedicure.  Not much to say about that.  : /

     And, to show myself some love, I want to try to take more time for myself.  Sometimes as moms and wives, we forget about ourselves.  Instead of a shower, maybe a bubble bath instead?  Sounds good!!  I also want to try to leave more stuff at school.  We as teachers work too much!!  And lastly, I want to reconnect with my friends, not just on the weekend, but during the week as well.

      My word! Where did our summer go?!?!

       I can't believe it is already August! The next time we do a Currently with Farley, I will have been in school for 2 whole weeks!!

      I'm here to link up with Farley for her always popular Currently!

Listening - Have you watched this show?  It's pretty funny!  It seems like it would be really fun to be on this show!!  

Loving - I always run out of room writing my responses on my Currently so I LOVE the bigger area!!  :)

Thinking - My to-do list is foreva long!!!  Good grief!  I don't think I will ever get it done!  At this time of the year, I am sure you all can relate!

Wanting - I'll take just 2 more weeks of summer.  I would really be happy with just 2 more weeks.  I donn't think it's going to happen though!  I keep getting emails from my school telling me I just have to be there on Monday...

Needing - Since I don't think I'm going to get 2 more weeks, I really need to get my room done!  One week prior to pre-planning is just not enough time!  I like to go in and piddle and take my time, and really think things out, but not this year!  It is a throw all together and hope it lands in the right place!  

B2s Must Haves - All three things that I listed are not material back to school items, but are essential to a great back to school!

Currently...It's Monday Made-It {July 1}

      Two of my most favorite linkys happen today!

Farley's Currently ANNNDDDD, it's time for Tara's Monday Made-It!!

First up-----July's Currently!

      Currently, I'm listening to Duck Dynasty.  Who doesn't love that show?!  It just makes you Happy, Happy, Happy to see such a fun family!

      I'm loving summer, but man!  It needs to seriously SLOW down!!  I mean, come on!  It's July already!  It seems like I was just doing Roller Chair Races for the end of post-planning just yesterday!  

      I am seriously longing for the beach, but it will have to wait!  We aren't going for another couple of weeks!  {Big sigh, right there!}

      Last night I did need to go to bed, but what was I doing?  Creating my Currently instead.  

      In this whole blogging experience, you should always make sure you are having fun and definitely be yourself!!  If you're not doing either of those, you won't enjoy it like you should and it will become a chore!

      Now, onto Monday Made-It!  

                                    

Monday Made-it #1:

      I've been wanting to do some dabbling in creating things for my classroom using QR codes sooooo.... this week, I made some an awesome little set that I plan on letting them use during math centers.  They are for addition within 100 with no regrouping!  They can be used in some many different ways!  Love them and I think my students will absolutely love these!!  If you would like them for free, be the first 3 to comment!! :)

Monday Made-It #2:

      Ok, so I found this great magnetic board last week.  I didn't get it and it has been on my mind ever since.  So, today, back to TJMax!  I think it is great!  The finish is kind of a turquoise that has been roughed up a bit.  Shabby chic love!  

      This beauty didn't come with any magnets and I've been wanting to make these glass blob magnets.  This was the perfect time!  I had some cute scrapbook paper and some peel and stick magnets.  I stuck the magnet on the scrapbook paper and cut around it.  Then, I placed a dab of hot glue on the the scrapbook paper side of the magnet and stuck the glass blob right on top, pressed down, and Voila!  A cute little magnet for my new board.  I can't wait to hang it in my classroom!

Just noticed I need to trim up that chevron one!  Ha!

Currently...June {Can you believe it?}

I'm linking up quickly to do my June Currently! I cannot even believe it's already June!!! This year is trucking right along! 

 Summer will be over before we know it!  I know, "Shut your mouth!!"  And, believe me, I am!!!

My post may look a little funky today...I'm writing it totally with the blogger app. I even did my Currently using an app!  Whoop!! Whoop!!

I am listening to the Braves game. They are currently winning! Go Braves!!

I am LOVING that I do not have to set an alarm for tomorrow morning!!! That is the best feeling!

I have made a huge, HUGE to-do list that I want to get started in soon!!

I am seriously wanting some banana creme cheesecake from The Cheesecake  Factory, but soooooo not needing to eat cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory!!! If only it was low calorie...  ....

My 3 must have vacay essentials are definitely sunscreen, sunglasses, and good reading materials! I burn easily and my eyes are very sun sensitive! And, I want a good book or some fun magazines!!

May Currently...

       Wow!  I cannot believe it is time for the May Currently!  Time really does fly!

Ok, so I'm listening to The Vampire Diaries.  I love this show.  It is a guilty pleasure of mine.  

I am loving that it's almost summer, BUT there is so much to do in these last few days that I would like for them to slow down...just a little.  

I would really like a HUGE bowl of ice cream from Laynie Bug's Sweet Shop!  Bourbon Burnt Sugar is my favorite!  Yum!  But, I could also go for some Starbucks about now.  

I really need to go to bed.  I am so tired.  My grade level won a field trip grant from our county and today was our day to go.  We went to Callaway Gardens to their butterfly conservatory.  Of course, it was horrible to get there and back.  What should take an hour 15 minutes took TWO HOURS not just going, but coming back!  We missed our first show that we were supposed to see, but we did get to see the beautiful butterflies.  But seriously, FOUR hours of bus time is a bit much!  

This summer that I want some fun in the sun at the beach AND I want to do some Pinterest projects.  Don't we all?!?!

April Currently and a FREEBIE!

        The days just keep ticking right on by!  I can hardly believe it is time to link up with Farley again for her April Currently!  

      Here's mine:

      It's the home opener for the Braves and all the boys at my house want to watch the Braves.  This has been the most anticipated season that I remember in a long time!  It seems my Facebook is blowing up about this upcoming season!

      It is just so beautiful outside right now!  I really wanted a snow day, but I am over that now!  It is finally spring and it is glorious!

      We had a Family Math Make and Take night at school tonight.  Plus, they threw in a PTO meeting.   I just didn't even go home.  I stayed and worked so I. AM. TIRED.  I just really think I want to go to bed  now and slllleeeeeppp for a long time!

      I so, so, so NEED Spring Break.  We won't have ours until the third week of April!  It can't come soon enough!!

      There is no need to worry so...don't worry!  I know, I know, easier said than done.  But, just know that if God takes care of the flowers and bird, how much more will He take care of you?  He's got this!  Right?

      Now, for the freebie...it's a Dictionary Search.  I am linking up with Classroom Freebies for Manic Monday.
 I have my kiddos use it to look up vocabulary words from their guided reading lessons.  We also make it into a fun game of Dictionary, where they race to find the words and write them down.  Anytime, there is a race of any kind, they are all in!  Of course, you can use it any way that you see fit.  I hope it helps your kiddos!

Currently...Can you believe it's March already?!?!

      I mean seriously - Weren't we just yesterday shouting, "Happy New Year!"  and kissing our honey at the stroke of midnight?  Wow!  Time is really flying by!!  And, with a new month, along comes a new Currently. I am linking up with Farley for another fabulous linky!

          I am currently listening to The Celebrity Apprentice.  My sweet husband LOVES this show.  I'm not really sure what it is, but for whatever reason, he loves it.  We're also DVRing the mini-series about the Bible for watching later!

       We started baseball season in 30 degree weather with small, small small snow flurries.  During our many cold games in years past, a friend starting bringing a sleeping bag to get in.  Well, that was going to be my ticket for staying warm!  Friday night, we went and bought a new sleeping bag.  Saturday, while everyone else was freezing, I was snug as a bug in a rug!  We have several more cold games this week so I am set!

      I really do need to get off the computer and go to bed!

       I need a SNOW day!  Here in the south, it is so rare and far between that snow days are something to be loved!  We love to see just a soft blanket of the white, fluffy stuff at least once a year!

     Can I get an AMEN?????  I would love to have not one, but two magic fairies that could help me with home projects as well as school projects.  I would wear out just one way too much!!

I like...roses.  I mean they are beautiful, right?
I love...rainbows.  They remind me of God's amazing creation and His promises to me!
I hate...roaches.  EEK!  We sometimes see them at my school and we could seriously saddle one up and ride it!  EWWWW!!!!  YUCK!!!!!

Currently...

     Happy Super Bowl everyone!  It's a little quiet here at our house.  No parties and no kids.  The hubby likes to stay home and watch in the peace and quiet.  They boys have gone to a Super Bowl party at church.  This year, I'm not really feeling the teams so...I'm on the computer!

      It's been a while since I've linked up with Farley for Currently...so here goes!

LISTENING - The Super Bowl is on and I hear it, but as far as knowing what's going on...I have NO idea!!

LOVING - My hubby is awesome, and I am so very blessed to have him!

THINKING - I really need to finish start my lesson plans.

WANTING - We just had a new HUGE, Kroger open and it has a Starbucks in it.  Trust me, that is BIG-TIME for our little town!  This thing even has a furniture section in it!!!

NEEDING - I have this great student teacher coming, but this is just her second field experience so she is not totally ready to fly yet.  She still needs lots of guidance!

PET PEEVES - I cannot stand tapping!  I don't like the sound of tapping!  I don't like to be tapped.  No pencil tapping, no feet tapping...just no tapping!

That's enough for now! I guess I really DO need to get those lesson plans going!
