Mother's Day, LGA Linky, and...A WINNER!

Happy Mother's Day, y'all!  I hope you have had a great day of spoiling and pampering!

I'm linking up this beautiful Mother's Day with Lotoya at Flying Into First quickly and then heading out to a nice dinner with the fam!

      Her questions this week are:

1.  What made you decide to become a teacher?
2. What has been your most rewarding experience as a teacher?
3. If you were not a teacher, what would you be?

1.  I originally wanted to be a speech-language pathologist, but one day, I just decided that I wanted to be a teacher!  It was just sort of like, "Yes, that's what I want to be!"

2.  I love when those students who have struggled finally get it!  That little light bulb moment is priceless!  I love being able to share the joy of just being a kid!

3.  If I was not a teacher, I would love to be a photographer!  I love taking pictures!  Follow me on instagram:

  2. Hi,

Being a speech pathologist sounds like a good career choice too. I have a friend who taught and had a photography business on the side. She is now at home enjoying her two little ones. I love seeing my students having an aha moment as well!

  3. One of my dearest friends was a speech pathologist. She did therapy in my special education resource room. We had so much fun. I learned a great deal about supporting struggling speakers from working alongside her. I love to take photographs also. My daughter is insisting I take her Senior Pictures this summer. She likes my work. I worry the quality won't meet my own standards and am scheduling a backup appointment with a pro.

  4. Yup the light bulb alone is the reason I get up in the morning excited to go to work. Today I had a student finally test at grade level after three years of reading intervention support! It made my day! I am your newest follower. I love your blog name:)
